Skiing

Since my race tomorrow was cancelled (anyone seen the forecast lately) I don't have any skis to sharpen/wax so I thought I'd see how everybody's season is going.

So far I have 29 days on snow this season with many more to come and a trip to Crested Butte planned for the last week in Feb

I know there are a few serious skiers on the board. Anyone have any trips planned? Any cool stories? Sure I love skiing, but hopefully this will help get me through to fishing season

I'll be in Park City next December for a little while. Are you just going to PCMR or are you hitting up the resorts in the surrounding area?

I'm a racer, Might be the only one here, not sure, prolly have about 60 days on snow already this year started in france over thanksgiving, 15 race starts already this year. heres one picture from France in the fall and one from a race last january.

might take spring break to go freeski in Tahoe.

not sure, a friend of mine shiped out there to work and ski for free, with lodging. wherever he works is where im goin i ski for free to

I raced from 1970 until I ended my career in 2007 Coaching. Both of the boys still ski but because of all of my sore bones I had to quit. Now I hate the cold if I can't Play in it. Thinking of Moving to Cabo for the winters.

By the way for you guys who love the air.

Ahhhhh, spring in Tahoe. I love that place in Late March.

Don't ski much anymore, but in the day I would be on the snow 40-50 days a year. Bumps were my addiction, now I can't make more than 10 turns before my legs feel like they are going to fall off.

Nice style Fin ,,Used to ski 30-50 day's per season with a trip out West or Europe The Butte was one of my stops ,your gonna like the vertical there,if I remember correctly that was one of my first real vertical adventures other than Tuckermans.
The Guide said something about making survival turns in neck deep snow on 60 + degree descent on the way up the vertical { not there any more Poma lift}

It snowed for our entire stay 8 days ,never seen what I thought was powder until we went to Utah
