I haven't seen or used simrads set up yet but I seen the other units and its badazz and well worth the investment. I love simrads products that have always been great a little on pricey side but great.

you guys do know that Simrad boroke up their company couple yrs ago right? stuff that is sold under Simrad name here in US owned by company that make "eagle" stuff. I had a large Big Simrad fishfinder that needed repair. Could not get any support. I will never buy SIMRAD again. Tom

Same thing here. I loved the Simrad finder, but the new company doesn't spport any of the previous units. Screw them.

Simrads are now just lowrance technology in a different box.

Jeff, I told you so. Its all just fluff. Navico ruined that brand. Only time will tell, hope it works well for you.
