I don't know where the Hooter Bouy is outside of Menemsha... I know about the Hooter out of Edgartown/Wasque. But that is neither here nor there.

An hour and a half south of the Vineyard in a 1950's boat is between the Fingers and the Dump... or even closer.

    Marlin, Swords, wow!!!

The scary thought is when do we drive them out of the Canyons and we all have to run to Bermuda....

I know where the hooter is. and I remember the fish coming into Menemsha to go to market.

all of this is burned into my being.

that is a great corner of the world

It was about 27 years ago while vacationing on Cuttyhunk with the family that we had a fresh swordfish treat while staying at the allen house. That fish came in from a local boat just south of the island. Same trip I landed my only 50 pound bass while fishing sow & pigs during a new moon at midnight on a huge gibbs lure on wire from yes a mackenzie bass boat that i had chartered

We used to fish for footballs at noman's back in the late 60's early 70's.
