The Shrek - The New Green Machine

    As promised...an update on

    - The Shrek -
    The New Green Machine

    (see Wasque Shoal)

It's a lot harder than it looks!

We had a few bites on The Shrek's debut only to get spooled down to the knot. The line held up great (20# braid with short w/t a 5 ft mono topshot). The drag needs some work. It's basically a screw with a nut. But it's top quality stuff LOL with a green thumbwheel LOL. I'm pondering an IGFA legal length leader for the topshot for more line and some stretch.

The spread is about a basic as one can get. Two "teasers" down the side with The Shrek down the center, wwws (way-way-way-short, the longer topshot should help)

I have some video footage. But, I'll keep filming until we finally get a fish in, on, near, or remotely close to the boat
