Should have figured this out earlier...

Get the wife involved. "THAT WAS AWESOME" . Wife's first fish, she handled it like a boss.

Left the barn at 4:30, Peaked Hill by 6:30, on the way home to the barn at 7:30am.

Side note....how was the ride home on Saturday afternoon? I saw some 18 ft center consoles coming across the bay on my way home. At 7:30am it was starting to blow out of the SW and my guess was the predicted 4-6 fters were not far behind.

Good job having your wife move over a little so we can see what Ralphy is doing in the background.

Congrats to the two of you!!

I was saying to myself maybe if I get back to the dock early enough Ralph won't be there. I knew I'd have to take pictures with the rat.

I had to flip the fish over to cut him and my wife was struggling. Ralph generously offered to help. I said "oh no we're ok", she says "yeah can you please help"

I definitely got the bert stare

Smart man - even better that you put her on fish so quickly. But expectations next time will be high...

is he ever NOT on that boat? I'm sure he let it slide cuz its your wife's fish and not yours. He was only mumbling "baby killer" under his breath. If your wife wasn't there he probably would have been screaming it HAHAHAHA

She caught it, but how much did she enjoy it? Was it this was fun every once in a while, or I can see why you are out of your mind, let's buy a 36' Northern Bay, 4 Tiagra 130's, 55 gallon drum of chum, and head out to Georges, tomorrow? I hope it is the second option....

Congrats on the fish, way to break her in.....

She's happy with CCB fishing on my boat. She thinks that's fun.

With a 2 yr old at home and a friend with a brand new 38 Northern Bay. She's not thrilled about the last minute canyon trips in August and the last two weeks of dinner time calls about whether any fish we're coming in from long east and would I be able to go last minute.

She's knows that I won't miss the chance this year to go long east.
