Shore fishing spot near Pawtucket, RI?

I am trying to find out where to fish in saltwater in Rhode Island that is near Pawtucket, RI. I don't know where to go. I like to fish with my husband but every time some one tells us a spot it is about a 45 min. drive. Is there a place that is closer. We like to fish for flats, scups, strippers, and black fish. Is there a place we can go to and fish on shore for this?

Try India Point Park Off of I 195 in Providence. There is also another park across the river that has public access. The fishing should be heating up here very shortly.
