Went out this weekend for little shark fishing and 4 Makos later and 2 Thrashers, we called it a day. Two of the Makos were 7 ft range and the other 2 were 4-5 ft range. Thrashers were 6-7 ft range. I have to say Makos are a spectacullar fish to go for if you are looking for some fun and probally one of the most "beautiful" out there. We started the day from Portsmouth, RI and headed East of BI. I won't give detailed locations as those are considered a top secret bit of info, but we were close to the bluffs guys. It seems that they are quite fond of large chunks of blue fish and not so much anything else. Over all for four guys with no experience fishing this species, we did alright. Well I should not say that, we went on a charter boat 2 years ago. I guess we are fast learners, I would say to all those thinking about it DO IT! But a word of caution, these aint no blue fish, learn about this fish first or you will get killed or seriously hurt.
