    Not much yet..

As I've heard it, it's been slow thus far. ...but Makos can be had. I usually don't go after the Makos till June 30th. If you'd like to tag along some time.... or keep in radio contact at two different spots. I prefer sharkin in July to Tuna, but then back to Tuna by mid-August... What size is your vessel?? I find the dumping grounds best in early July. Approx. 180ft.

it was all blue dogs... left the dock at little past five and were at the fingers by 715. get the 4 lines out and chummed hard for about an hour and the first rod went off. as we were fighting that fish we cleared the lines and one of the rods we just left the bait in the water (not on purpose just not paying attention) and before we knew it we were doubled up. the guys who i took it was there first time so it was a little interesting but it was fun. so once the fish were there we could not get rid of them, we constantly had 3-5 blue sharks swimming around the boat at one time. we caught somewhere between 15-20 of them but in the end we only fished one rod because the bait was in the water for no lie 10 seconds and we would be tight. We tried to put weight on to get it past the blues but we couldnt do anything. we finally left at about noon happy crew but no meat to take more. if anybody has any ideas on how to get rid of the blue sharks let me know because they are a pain in the a$$.

    catch em up,

    Billy
