    Selling Tuna

Say you hit the dock with a giant in the boat. You've got all your I's dotted and T's crossed. Who makes the decision to ship the fish on consignment or take what the buyer offers on the spot? It's been a few years since I've sold a fish and wanted to know if anything has changed. It used to be that a fish had to be a pretty fat one to do the consignment thing with. Has it changed?

If the meat is quality and it can be sent to japan, it is usually worth the wait for the higher prices.
