    seaguar fluorocarbons

I need to pick up some fluorocarbon for tuna fishing and was looking at seaguar, but which one? They have the original seaguar or there new premier. Has anyone used there premier? the premier looks like its has a thinner diameter.
    thoughts? Thanks

Premier a bit more expensive but easier to tie with when you hit the 100+lb mark. Also been experimenting with Yozuri that is also a little easier to tie than the original Seaguar

the premier has a harder shell and is more abrasion resistant but yes it does have a smaller diameter for rated line sizes.

the yo-zuri stuff is very soft and does not hold up well to chaffing.

used premier today for the first time, 170lb, and it held up great on a 75'' gut hooked fish, no chaffing at all.

Think we may have seen you out there today. Nice fish!

I like the sequar premier...tough as nails, easier to tie and a little thinner than the regular.

I think Seaquar has a cheaper line too, comes in a red package. It has a different tinge to the color. Not a fan of the lower end stuff.

Premier FTW and I think it's what most of the wind-on resellers use as well.
