    Sea Witch Skirts/Ballyhoo ??

Wondering if anyone can point me in a direction for getting these two items. I looked around the web, and found the skirts but only up to 1.5oz, and heard 3oz is best. Any suggestion on where to find the heavier. Do you really need heavier, is 1.5oz fine? I would troll them on some Shimano 30wides S of MV for tuna, mahi, bonito, and whatever we can scratch up.

Also what options to get unrigged ballyhoo on Cape. I would be staying in Dennis, and launching out of Falmouth. Fishermans Outfitter, or Eastmans? Falmouth Bait and Tackle? I see they all have some unrigged BH. Any favorite shops?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions

Falmouth Bait and Tackle has become a decent offshore shop. In my opinion they still have a ways to go, but their prices on ballyhoo are the best around.

If you're in Dennis, I would talk to Carl at Sportsman's Landing in W Dennis - I know he has prime med, select and horse ballyhoo (Bionic), and all the skirts, sea witches etc you want

If you are in Dennis, definitely another vote for Carl at Sportsman's Landing, he will setup you up with what you are looking for.

I am a complete rookie with this type of fishing/rigging so Im in need some help if anyone is wiling to share some knowledge...
Forgive me for all the questions but,

Ok so now let's assume I have some hoos and skirts.
How man skirts should be on board? Any favorite size or color?
    How many hoos?
How many of the hoos would you rig up with leader, weight, and hook?
    Leader lb and length?
is that an egg sinker? How many oz?
    What about hook....size? type?

Again, thanks for any advice. PM if you want.
Happy to return any advice on casting for bluefin up N

a dozen pack of medium ballyhoo and 4 seawitch rigs; 7 or 8/0 forged hook; single crimp w/ pin, no weight needed w/ 2-3 oz seawitches.

Rig up 4, run 2 and have 2 ready to go.

    Thanks Backman, really appreciate it!
So when you rig the hoo is that including the leader? How long and what lb test would you use for Claw/Dump area s of MV. 60lb and 10'??
I have 30wides with mono on them. What is best way to connect line to leader for this? Assume you should have a swivel on there for any spin factor?
    Again thanks for sharing
