Block Island to Hatteras
There is a high water system of 20 cm above sea level off the coast of Rhode Island and the southern end of Massachusetts. The coastline is flat until central New Jersey where a low water system forms and extends to the coast of southern Virginia. This water system has a low of -20 cm below sea level in the Chesapeake Bay. Another high water system has formed off the coast of North Carolina with a high of 25 cm above sea level. The coast of Rhode Island to the coast of Delaware is currently 45-50°F. The coast of southern Delaware to North Carolina is currently 53-57°F, with Pamlico Sound having a sea surface high of 64°F.
