JUST got here yesterday left jfk at 1130 pm arrived in guayaquil ecuador at 6 am had a 3 hour layover and flew to my island SAN CRISTOBAL BOTH boats are rigged and ready all have new electronics and top notch fishing gear and the most deadly selections of konas for these waters also we have ballyhoo for bait and switch as well as spin gear for poppinf huge tunas and hoos as well as cuberas they got one the other day was over 75 lbs on a jig 5 miles from dock MARLINS BLUES AND STRIPES ARE STARTING TO FIND THE BAIT SCHOOLS RIGHT NOW THERES A LOT OF BAIT MUCH MORE THAN LAST YEAR . Seas are flat ass calm very light breeze temp is 87 and sunny theres 3 new restuarants on the island as well as a new hotel TORTOISES SEALIONS MARINE IGUANAS AND BLUEFOOTED BOOBIES DOING WHAT THEY DO BEST POSE FOR PHOTOS FROM TURISTAS GRINGOS I WILLL be fishing sunday inshore for tunas groupers wahoo etc BOATS ARE available for inshore and offshore fishing anyone want to fish give me a shout petesantini@yahoo.com

WENT out just off the port about a mile put the rapalas out in 3 minutes double header wahoo one about 30 other around 45 we got the bigger one in quick the smaller one made 2 long runs and we had him 30 feet from the boat when POW LOBO galapagos for sealion sghowes up and tackled the hoo after 30 seconds another all you can eat free sushi dinner courtesy of santini for the sealion lol PUT THE LURES BACK OUT 10 minutes later anotherr noo about 35 lbs got him the sealions were still busy with the first course. then trolled another 15 minutes and got another explosive strike about a 40 lb hoo turn the boat around haeded back in Marlin later this week I GOT ROOM all month february inshore or offshore easy flight from jfk via aerogal or lan airlines delta and american you have to ovrnite in guayaquil or quito Looking to get away for a great fishing diving exotic adventure give us a shout will post pictures soon pete

yellowfin today to 70 lbs on poppers and trolling rapalas a few almaco jack in the 30 lb range plus groupers on deep divers to 25 lbs weather is cloudy with little spats of rain water temp is starting to rise more and more biat showing everyday been snorkeling everymorning off the dock lo9ts of colorful fish sealions and turtles will post more pic soon

raise 9 marlin had 3 bites caught 1 2 days ago yesterday got bundled up with 50 lb bigeye and caught 1 marlin plus loads grouper tilefish pink almaco jack and others i never seen before allm on jigs in 120 feet of water more and more bait showing everyday big schools of marlin should be right with them

found a new unfished spot called the easter egg today its perfect deep holes with a sharp rise lots of flying fish any way went 1 for 4 3 blues and 1 huge black hank lane of north carolina caught his 1st blue and 2nd marlin ever today fish was a healthy 225 lbs caught on a light 30 weight outfit last fish the black eas a big ******* came up and missed the bait this place needs a lot of exploring back at it in 3 days santini out from san cristobal galapagos

wahoos everywhere yesterday 1 mile off beach 30 to 50 lbs hitting cedar plugs trolled 20 feet behind the boat Had one take the plug jump up almost as high rigger and crash down and take off again Lots of fun on lite gear WILL BE marlin fishing at the Easter EGG in 2 days santini out san cristobal galapagos

Yesterdays san cristobal report headed out 8 am water was green at the easter egg fished it 3 hours nada left went to rosa blanca lots of skipjaks again nada then a school off bigeyes destryed eveverything started heading back port found some bamboo lashed tgeth threw a jig pow dorados everywhere 10 to 15 lbs kept a few threw the rest back water was infested with them some wahoos in the mix as well back at it in 2 days weather is perfect no wind and sunny water temp 81 santini out
