Spreader bars (squid, green machines, or tuff hoos), green machines and islander bally combos. Sometimes a marauder (Swimming lure) mixed in. Pretty much all I use south.

A little more detail. I am still figuring out how my CC fished compared to previous downeast. I usually run spreader bars in teh 3rd wake off the corners as this weems to tease well, put green machines or islander ballys behind these with Canyon Runner squid bars on the logn riggers in 6th or 7th wake (like these because of the floats can leave out while hooked up). Agree w/ Backman on the WWB bird/gm combo (too mcuh trouble to keep check a bally back there). I run small stuff on flat lines if they are striking close.
Going to exprimient mroe this year with big swimmers in close also to try to get that wahoo.... |
