FISHING REPORT --- November 4, 2010
STRIPED BASS ---- Reports were again mixed this week. There was still some bunker around in Clinton and Westbrook earlier this week but bass around them were tough to come by. A few medium sized bass were picked away in that area. Long Sand Shoal is still the most consistent spot to pick a fair sized fish with live eels being top choice. Some bass were on top at Hatchetts earlier in the week but not toward week end.
Montauk once again had bass for the boats with mostly schoolies off the point. Best reports came from the RI South Shore with good night action from Napatree to Charlestown.

BLUEFISH ---- Some random big blues are in the Connecticut River along the Ragged Rock and Great Island shorelines. The jumbos that were on Long Sand Shoal have been thinning out.

BLACKFISH ---- Most anglers came back with good reports this week, and most moved to deeper waters such as Southwest reef and Black Point. There's still a few anglers who have mastered the art of jigging around the breakwaters that are clobbering the blacks.
