Rivers End Tackle report 3-18
FISHING REPORT -- March 17, 2011
STRIPED BASS --- There's no Spring Run for at least a couple of week, but we're hearing of
some of the holdover bass awakening in the Thames, Connecticut and Housatonic Rivers.
Nothing specific, but if the rivers clean up in the next few days, it'll be worthwhile.
WHITE PERCH --- A few reports of some perch with an emphasis on some have been caught
in the marina basins and Hamburg Cove.
SEMINARS
SURFCASTING 101 --- Saturday March 19th at 11am with Pat Abate
This seminar is geared to the guy or gal with a few years experience or less and would like
to figure out how to be more successful from the beach. We'll cover the whens, wheres and
hows of surf fishing and clear up some common misconceptions.
BONEFISHING 101 --- Wednesday March 23rd at 7pm with Chip Bates
This seminar is for anyone who has fished or would like to chase bonefish. I've reviewed
the presentation and its chocked with useful information for even the most seasoned angler.
If nothing else the tropical images will help cure Winter.
