FISHING REPORT --- November 18, 2011 ,
HOURS --- NOTE NEW HOURS, will be the same all winter
Sat-Sun -- 9am- 4pm
Mon-Fri -- 9am - 6pm
STRIPED BASS --- The few reports that came in this week were some larger bass off Black Point early in the week, small to medium bass on Long Sand Shoal and Hatchetts Reef mid week.
The RI beaches had schoolies yesterday and earlier in the week, there were also reports of gannets diving on herring off beaches from Charlestown to Weekapaug.
In CT there was school bass activity off the Waterford Beaches.
BLUEFISH --- Only blues we heard of this week were off the beach at Weekapaug.
PORGIES --- No porgies reported this week.
BLACKFISH --- Reports from Black Point and Southwest say the fish are getting smaller, good numbers but you have to go through a bunch to get 4 keepers.
