(Riverhead, NY- September 10, 2010)- Snapper Tournament Honors 911 Victims
On Saturday, September 11, 2011, The Town of Riverhead will host it's 13th Annual Riverhead Snapper Tournament on the beautiful Peconic Riverfront.
This year's tournament will be in memory of all the 911 Victims and their families. Tournament Director Capt. Ray Kelly said "This year's tournament will be honoring all the victims of 911. Those victims will never be forgotten. I hope adults will bring many children this year. Snapper fishing is a fun and easy to do."
The tournament has an Adult and Jr. Division. Snapper fishinga is a great way to get children involved in fishing. There is a large raffle at the the end of the tournament. Participants also receive FREE Hot Dogs and Soda. The first 100 registrants also receive FREE Tournament T-shirts.
