Rigging Party - success - Thanks All Tackle

All I can say is a very special THANK YOU to Captain Keith and Steve from All Tackle for their support. Steve arrived Friday evening with a load of incredible bally's packed in GET THIS brand spankin new Canyon Bags. Huge Canyon Bags.... The cargo was packed in dry ice and when Steve rolled up to the door ..they were brick hard We unloaded the bags and loaded the freezers with the product....New Bags I couldn't believe it. Now that's commitment....Better new is my neighbor and buddy bought them both from Steve on the spot.

    So here's the report

Steve S the father of Da Beast arrived brite and early and set it up. Shortly the gang began to assemble and when Shoe and Capt. Kev arrived you should have seen Shoe's eyes light up. He had destruction on the mind and that thought permeated the marina.
It started off with let's test this knot and the feed frenzy took over to the tone of just break it. Nothing was safe with this crew as knots and lines were blown up then some hoo rigs exceeded their limits giving it up to the gang.

    Vertical Jigging

Oh you didn't want to be an assist hook with these guys
AFTER FURTHER REVIEW..Shoe will post some video of the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat....

Skunked Again and Codfishshark arrived with trolling candy from Dunkin's thanks guyz
Tuna Meltdown volunteered a bunch of hooks and rings from doctor Shimano
Canyon Junkie, and friend, Fintan got in on the hook snelling
Topaz 29 and Shoe went to skirt trimming and lure rigging schoool with Cappy Say

Haus brought up some more eye candy and the guyz repsonded in kind.

Rick walked away with two new canyon bags..man are those baby's engineered. If you have a need to store ice...these are the rela deal.

TFlies, Case and Backman...were present and accounted for

Chumtini.....your a baaaaad maaaannnn delivered to Shoe the latest lure in town ...Red Sox Ranger variant...sure to be a hit on Costa Rican Roosters

Bluefin 22 has healed and the fish will be in trouble this year...great wseeing you again and no more broken ankles

Passing along the gift of Box

What's a rigging party without some meat?
In the phot Shoe is coaching Fintan on riggin da meat ala Box style. Fintan picks it up like old pro.

Shortfin is in da house and donates some candy to the gang if you can anser to Marty questions correctly...mission accomplished

Topaz 29 brings a huge amount of dry ice so the guys that have to travel far can keep their bait in top shape..thanks buddy...

Haus..brings the bling bling..Shoe isn't certain Nansea will understand

We are already looking forward to next season
    T Flies is ready

The Admirals landed in Falmouth for a bit of tourism

This gang came from as far away a Keene NH, Elliott Maine, central and western mass....

It was all good and thanks again to All Tackle for thier commitment. Imagine a retailer today breaking our 600 worth of brand new canyon bags and sending an associate all the way up here to deliver the product

Now that is commitment..pure and simple

Thanks Captain Keith and special thanks to Haus.

Yes, thank you Steve for making the trek up here to hand deliver all of those nice ballies. There will be many of us who are well prepared up here this year.

A special thank you has to go to Seaker and Capt Say for giving us all a place to get together, talk some fishing, break some gear, tell some stories, and learn some tricks.

It was great to see all of you whom I've met before, and to put some faces to the names that I see every day here on the site. Hopefully this season will be a productive one for us all.

I don't know about you all, but I learned quite a few things about the best way to tie, crimp, and rig for the most strength possible. Plus I left having been taught by Jay the proper way to prep the plastique....I think it's going to make a huge difference this year.

Again, it was great to meet you all, and I look forward to talking with you all this season.

    Best,
    Shoe

By the way, I put together a little synopsis of the destruction as well as some video....enjoy!

Bummed I missed this -- looked like a fun time. Family stuff kept me in at the last minute.

That mylar dredge looks pretty nasty -- massive school of sandeels anyone?

Thanks for putting this all together Vinny. Nice meeting all of you and seeing some familiar faces, too. I have to say, watching Capt Say rig up all those lures, that was cool That guy knows what he's doing!

Shoe, thanks for the lesson on the ballyhoo rigging. Can't wait to put it to use. I know for sure some tuna will die this year.

Thanks Steve for making the trip up here. Those ballys were rock hard.

Fun day, and very informative. Thanks everyone.
