    RI this wkd?

reports seem kind of light. anybody headed out?

we'll be looking for BFT then probably sharking in the afternoon. mudhole, fairway, acid barge, suffolk, horns, the dump. haha, we'll probably be wandering around those places.

Haven't been out that way yet this year, nor have I heard anything. With the amount of tuna on Stellwagen,I'd imagine you'll find something.I'd suggest live bait,if you cant find any, follow the draggers.I'd definately love to hear a report when you get back.

Headin out tomorrow morning as well. Doing the same set up. Searchin for BFT in the morning. heard reports of them being seen sporadically in many locations. Then sharkin in the afternoon time prolly around the horns since thats where the water seems best right now.

Reliable reports of quite a few Bluefin seen in the 50-150 range from the fairway and west. Fished spotted behind draggers around the cartwright wreck yesterday as well. They seem a little picky put they are here.

Was going this weekend but decided against it. Same plan though but didn't want to fight with the Star Island crowd that was also fishing this weekend! Should've gone! How'd you guys make out?

we had a half hearted attempt at sharking. i came with 4 live bluefish in my well, all around 2-3 lbs.

i got bluefished again! friggin cannibals.

my wife said it was like a magic trick. i livelined a 2 lb bluefish, in 10 minutes i reeled in a 12 lb bluefish.

we didnt shark long, but didnt even see a blue dog.

MAde it out yesterday. Grabbed some bait, which was harder than a can remember and then trolled the mud hole. No tuna, just big ass bluefish. Set-up for some sharkin and took a mako around 135-140# 69". Played with the bluedogs for a while after and then back on the troll. Still no tuna. Shark steaked up nice!
