    23grady vs 26 regulator

I have the grady and would trade it in a heartbeat for the 26 regulator for whatever it is worth.

don't get me wrong, the grady is a great boat- very beamy, but the regulator really shines in the slop.

Goodnyou- Yanmar 300hp with bravo 3 w/ about 400 hrs

DKIYDG- I like the blackwatch 26, But i like the diesel in the regulator, and am kinda weary of the blackwatch cored hulls because the newest ones are 20 years old now.

I would imagine that boat would ride great with a big diesel down low. Is the deck flush or is there a box? Probably get some good fuel numbers out of that setup.

No boat around here (Kennebec) in Maine can run with my 26 Regulator with 250 Fourstrokes when it gets sloppy, bottom line. The thing is a beast.

Hey scott- having a dilemma with buying something like the Reg 26, Carolina 25 or Mirage or saving a bit more and buying something with canyon range(and a bigger cabin) like a Carolina 28, Albemarle 280/30, Blackfin 29, Blackwatch 30, shannon brendan 28 ect. My boat has the same range as the smaller boats and needs nothing, it just the ride gets to me sometimes. It was my wife's idea to wait and buy what I really want. And you never hear good stories about I/Os.

As you can tell I'm still up in the air...
