Release tuna chair purchased new 2000. Teak, with epoxy/polyurethene finish.
Needs to be refinished.
Any recommendations on individuals/companies who would do a good job.
Thanks,
Mac

I seem to recall that Release Marine has a refinishing service - they will restore it to new...
Not specifically...but you can look around in your local marina for people that do bright work...most of them shold be able to do a great job.
Thanks for the responses.
Spoke to Sam Peters/Release, good guy, good company. The quote was substantially higher than the $2k. Don't know, the quote maybe that which is required, but gotta engage due diligence. Additionally, the shipping would be a pain.
Spoke to one local guy who does bright work.
Want to get it done right, the chair is a good one. Don't want to underpay, don't want to overpay.
Thanks,
Mac
Mac-
If it comes down to it and you're handy, you can actually do it yourself....here's pic of a Murray Brothers chair I did a few years which included re-chroming all the metal.....it's not a 'perfect" job by any means, but it lasted for three years until I sold the chair...
Good Luck!

There's a guy in Hanover that does restoration work. I'll get his name tomorrow.
