    Radio antenna

    Want to install another radio/antenna anyone on cape or in the area that knows alot about radios and can give me some advice. want to install a ray55 radio need to know a good antenna for it.

    any help would be greatly appreciated

    Either of these is a good choice for about $125

    I had Digitals until a little accident with a bridge. I replaced them with Comrods and have been very pleased with their performance.

    Not sure if the xt or xp but one is silver other is copper wire/shield.
    The silver is much better.
    Just replaced one of mine.

    FWIW, the Galaxy 5225XP is the one with the silver plated choke and what I use. . But Shakespeare now has a new "top of their line": Phase III series, and the 8'-er is #6225.
