i think there will be a provision to allow all out of work people to fish for free.If you collect welfare they will get you a new rod and reel (just like cell phone). this is ridiculous... so you have some buddies down and decide to go fishing everybody has to paqy the ten bucks even if they want to just go out and wet a line. you guys are right it is going to cut down on people just going out and having a good time with buddies. what is the penalty if caught? who is regulating this? it is not the price that is fustrating it is the pain to go out and get it people just wont do it!

I'd rather give ten bucks to the massachusetts than the federal government. Thats what was going to happen, so be happy Obama is not going to get the funds granted i don't think Deval is going to put the money where it belongs either....can somebody say General Fund.....

attended meeting last night. really small turnout. still some issues to get squared away, but the "anglers" permit will me up and running before new year. the "for hire" permits are not going to be ready as soon, but they expect them ready well before spring launch.....Tommy
