Proposed 2012 GOM Recreational Haddock Limits

NOAA announces revisions to the Gulf of Maine haddock possession limit and minimum fish size for recreational anglers. This action implements a 9-fish haddock possession limit per angler per trip, and increases the minimum fish size for haddock in the Gulf of Maine to 19 inches for private recreational anglers and charter/party vessels. The deadline for public comments on this interim final rule is January 17, 2012.
