Good comment today, Dave, glad to see you there. Another great turnout! Packed house! Will also put some thoughts up in coming days, cant do it right now unfortunately.

Hopefully the NC guys can pack the room down there, too!

The evidence from the fishermans own visual acounts would seem to have the odds stacked in our favor. Hopefully NOAA will be unbiased and do the right thing. There were a lot of very educated people with some very good points made yesterday.

Room was packed with many folks who have seen the distribution of BFT since the 50's. It was nice to listen to many anglers much more knowledgeable than myself on the subject and provide my comments. I pray that NOAA does the correct thing here and does not just do what Jane wants. It is a shame that Secretary Locke just screwed the ground fisherman once again by not easing the groundfish regs for the catch share holders.

Thanks guys for attending the meetings and remember if you did not attend there is still time to write in with your comments. IF you did speak I would recommend sending in a letter also.

Thats asking alot Fred....I hope you are correct. I just dont see Jane backing down on this one after losing so badly at CITES unless there is pressure from elsewhere and considering the administration in place I think we are in for it.

I hope I am totally wrong.
