    Pogy Gill Net Suggestions Needed

What size mesh, length and depth does everyone use? Assume a commercial permit so I can over the 200 Sqft allowed in MA. Thank you for your suggestions.

I would recommend : 3 1/2 stretch; 150 ft. length (you can go to 300 ft.); I like 10' deep if you're pulling by yourself from a smaller boat. For ease of setting & pulling I would use the min. # of buoys required by law.

    Hey yellow.

If you contact cape fish supply in chatham ma they have all the diffrerent sizes of nets and mesh.

You didnt say how big your boat was but I would say that if you are going to use a net in a harbor then you should stick to the 60'. Any bigger and it becomes a pain in the ***.

You can always connect two together if you are outside the harbor giving you 120'. I have never used more than a 60'.
