    Plugging Norwalk Islands

Headed out last night for a few hours before sunset. Big schools of bunker everywhere. Unfortunately nothing pushing them. Caught a few schoolies on the outside of Middle Passage and one in the creek behind the power plant. Had some 12 inch fish nipping at a 10 inch plug...comical! Maybe it will get started with the new moon on Tues. Going fluking on the LI side in the morning....bite is just getting started.

It always amazes me when those things go after lures that are almost as big as they are... I wonder if it's less about feeding and more about attacking another fish? Not sure.

Thanks for the report... I can't wait for the run up here to start...
