i posted this on another site a few days ago. Just the way i feel.

I am very disappointed .

I'm afraid what we consider newsworthy today is what kind of Club was used to "break Tiger Woods out of his Wrecked $47,000 SUV." !!. Not the sacrifices those brave men and women made so we could evolve to this kind of "It's my RIGHT to know" . Dam shame, even though i was not there it did happen in my lifetime. I'm afraid we've lost the edge on Compassion.

Well,shit,Don,right now,everyone is focussed on their personal finances.No concern for America,or it's warriors.I think War,and it's people,are only worthy during an election year.
I got outta the Army in 92,Just after Desert Storm,Americans were in love with the military.Why?In my opinion,because we won,and quickly.
I'll enclose a pic from one of my best friends(my kinda brother)The pic is from Iraq,they're now getting ready to head for Afghanistan.My buddy DAn,is in the back row,2nd from the right,just behind the hottie.

Hmmm... how ironic that a photo from Iraq / Afghanistan pops up in a thread about Pearl Harbor. The last time we fought an enemy that started with a cowardly sneak attack and wanted to die for their "god" we had to nuke them to make our point clear. Too bad we, as a nation, don't seem to have the intestinal fortitude anymore.
