Not for a couple of weeks. Haddock are plentiful but not huge. Caught a halibut! First one out there. Weather hasn't been good on the weekends and I'm on the road all week up north. Trying for next Sunday or Monday. Will report.

Havent fished Platts for a couple years but I remember some great days there on the eastern edge on both cod and haddock. The only problem with Platts was "Blue September". When the blue dogs show up it in late August it can be a bear of a place to groundfish. But if you want to go shark fishing there is no better place around. By now they should be thinning out so if you can get the weather (doubtful with the fall we are having) it should be worth your time.
