    Penn 70

Looking to purchase a Penn 70 for an xmas present for my brother. (A wise man once told me never buy a present for someone that you couldn't use yourself.)
Anyways where's the best place right now to buy a setup online? any local tackle shops you guys prefer?

    70 or 80

Do you like the 70 or should I go a little heavier with an 80?
Presently we have (2) 130's, (1) 50, (1) penn spin 950, and some smaller misc.

C park: What do you plan on doing with it? For stand-up clearly the 70VS is a better option than a 80.

Don't know what your intention for the reel is as far as use, but I would think adding a couple more 50's to that aresenal would be a lot more versatile.

What kind of fishing do you do mostly?

    Our target

We fish for mostly tuna, some shark but our main target is bluefin- troll, bait or kite

the biggest fish we have caught on a 50 was a 75" on a harness standup- and the fight was 40 minutes (still a sport) I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been as fun on one of the 130's

this will beat the left handed hockey stick I use to get him
