Pan Mass Challenge

I have decided to embrace my inner athlete (it has been a nostalgic journey!)…….and ride in the upcoming Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) to be held August 7-8th! The PMC (www.pmc.org) is the single largest contributor
to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute – an organization dedicated to the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of cancer and
related diseases (more about the good work of the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber
below).


The PMC is the charity that my wife Cathy and I have decided to dedicate our greatest energies to and I am riding this year for my Dad and two friends that have lost thier life to cancer. I know its a tough economy but if you can help in the fund raising that would be great. My fund raising goal for 2010 is $5,000. In order to participate, you can make an
e-donation at the pan mass website (www.pmc.org) by clicking on "make a donation" then "online giving" then "credit card gift" then "e-gift" referencing my e-gift code JC0506. If you prefer to send a check just PM and I will provdie you the details. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. All donations of $50 or more recieved prior to the race will be eligible for an online raffle of two great prizes - 1st prize - a whale watching charter or tuna charter on 55 Hatteras, 2nd prize - two tickets to early September Red Sox game!

If you would like to dedicate your donation to someone dear, please include his
or her name in a brief note or email. I will submit the names for publication on the PMC site. Your tax-deductible check can be made payable to PMC/Jimmy Fund.
