Nothing like a little St. Elmo's Fire to get the day started. Fishings better in the rain.

Ran into some doozie storms today in Buzzards bay. Went to shore and dropped the hook in Quicks hole. Wind,rain and all the lightning any fool could hope for. Strikes all around us for 15 min. or so. Six or seven boats with us at the time. Then we fished some more, quite a show!

You did not miss much @ swc and sec this morning. Just when we were marking fish and bait we were chased out to the north by severe lightning and rain. Nasty wind as well. Slow day with no takers. Looks as though live bait is the wtg. Only fish I saw taken was on live.
