Correct me if i'm worng but the LP cannot hold close to as many people as we've seen in the tent in years past... Any insight on how many boats are registered so far?

Lamp post can hold 880 , so know tables or chairs for the dinner... should be interesting

I like the idea, they never get close to all the captains showing up for the meeting anyways, most guys don't listen to a word said and the beer is medicore at best in the tent, this way you have a full bar to choose from and a good loaction right downtown.
Numbers are down a little but we know that allot of guys wait to the last minute for the weather report and such, I would guess 225+ boats.
As long as the calcutta set-up is decent I think it's a plus being downtown.
Plus it's right around the corner from the house we rented so we like that

i think it is a pretty good idea especially consindering it will bring a little more revenue up town cause once you have walked 75 yards who really wants to walk back to the boat for a beer.
