NW Corner
Second shot at chasing tuna. We hit the NW Corner at around 7:30. We got there late because we had to go around the Cape since the Blyman Cut Bridge was broken this AM.
Saw Tuna Jumping like crazy. Was a freaking awesome sight. Trolled towards them but no bites. This happened at least three - four times. Once a center console gunned into the school and was casting for them. It seemed like they only spooked them away. The guys on the Bounty Hunter were pissed because the school was right in line with their slow troll. Those guys looked ready to kill. Our troll speed averaged about 6.5 knots pulling a squid spreader, 2 Daisey chains, a jet head, and a diver with a bowling pin teaser rigged by Fisherman's Outfitters. We are pretty much maxed on the spread due to only having 5 tuna set ups. What did we do wrong? Troll speed ok? Anyone else hookup?

Slow down your trolling speed to 3.5 to 4 knots. Every bluefin I have ever caught on Stellwagon was going alot slower than 6.5.
