SE Alaska... that is. Yeah, I married well. My in-laws took us on a cruise.

Picture 3 halibut
Picture 4 120 ft sportfishermen... sick. They fished hard too. Not a dock queen.
Picture 5 Another big sportfisherman in the middle of nowhere. At least 75 miles from town. People drive 9 knots everywhere.

Picture 7 Our two rigs for the week and a half.

Sitka to Juneau, anchored up in ABC islands for 7 nights. I was snagging the humpys. Pinks on super light tackle was the balls. Like Albies.

We fished for kings and silvers for 3 days and struck out.

The Cielo Mare in the picture on my first post is the second largest sportfisherman in the world.

Picture 3 Nordhavn that followed us up 50 miles to Sawyer glacier through some serious ice. They really are the ultimate cruising boat.
Picture 4: trading beer for King Salmon with the fishermen at Baranoff Island hot springs. Because the permits out there are so valuable the commercial boats typically include 2 and 3 generations on them. Super nice guys.
