Northwest of the Sword Sat - SKUNK

Arrived about 5 miles North of the sword @ 4:45 AM sat. As soon as we set lines fog rolled in with the tide. Vis <100yds. Lots of bait scattered whales and porpoaise everywhere. Marked some fish. Trolled 18" and 13" squids until noon without a strike. Tried water from 190' to 340'. Heard a couple boats hooked up mid-morning on 68, but quite a few skunks also. Bluefish were really bad in the water under 240'. I will be making up some new stingers for the bars for the next trip.

Hey Seth,

Although we never saw you guys all day, cuz' of the fog. We were right along side of you....We got sprayed by the skunk as well,.... and it stinks!!
Bunch of bluefish tearing up the rigs and a few bass is all we had to show for the day...

Sorry to hear about the skunks- we've had one of those bastards on our boat and can't get rid of the prick.....we need some Skunk-Ex

we got skunked today fishing the SWC corner and peaked hill... the weed made tought trolling today
