Got some live Mackerel and went live lining around the Kittery Point, Maine Rocks two days in a row. No action at all. Got my Macks in close to the rocks and no action. Temperatures were cool so not because of overly hot days. Saw no fish on the fishfinder either day. Never tried plugging. I thought it was too early in the season for plugging. Any ideas!
been seeing a bunch of schools in boston harbor for the first time in good numbers, they'll make their way up to you been a funky season. Not much blue action around here either. I've had all schoolies in boston so far. Maybe try in the rivers near you?
