how does it work when a charter catches a giant? does the boat own the fish or does the charter? Does the boat sell the fish...or does the charter keep the fish? just curious. back in the old days we never dealt with this. thanks!

Boat owns the fish do to federal permiting. Most boats will keep the fish and maybe offer a discount on a future charter.
