Charters always let you know ahead of time that a market fish belongs to the boat/capt. If you charter a boat and are lucky enough to land a giant you should be grateful for the experience--and you might be lucky enough to get a discount/refund.

Boat makes thousands off of the angler's work, but he'll get tossed a bone and maybe be "lucky" enough to warrant a discount on a future charter? Dat's mighty gracious of dem generous folks!

I can't believe you guys are worried about this. If you don't like the policy of the boats then don't charter them. I have a special deal that I work out with any of my clients who charter me for a tournament so believe me when I tell you that they are not only very happy about catching a fish of a lifetime, on a stand up rod with a Penn 70 no less, it will work out for them and I think they left the boat kind of happy. Oh, and we did pretty good in the calcutta end of the tourney so I think that worked out good too. Now if we could only have made the 44 miles back to Nantucket in 30 minutes we would have won the whole thing but my boat just isn't that fast and the fish didn't want to die. Oh well, I'll still take it. Capt. Eric

ARE YOU KIDDING WE WERE ALL EXTREMELY HAPPY ABOUT EVERYTHING FROM START TO FINISH WITH THIS CHARTER! NOT ONLY WAS IT A FIRST FOR ALL OF US, BUT MORE IMPORTANT WAS THE COMMRADERE AND FRIENDSHIPS THAT WERE SOLIDIFIED! WHAT EVER DEAL IS MADE MAKES NO DIFFERENCE, WHEN YOU GO THRU AN INSANE EVENT SUCH AS THAT THE EXPERIANCE ALONE IS WORTH MORE THAN ANY "DEAL"!!
THANKS AGAIN ERIC, MATT AND COREY, I HAD A GREAT TIME!!

Story coming soon. Just wicked busy after being away for 4 days. Awesome fish and a great group of guys. Hyannis Anglers Tourney is in two weeks and I am still open, give me a call if you want in. Ask the boys who just fished this weekend with us if the adventure is worth the money. Come on man, you got to play to win! Capt. Eric
