Ok, doing some preliminary tournament research and looking for suggestions for an offshore tournament. Only criteria is that the tournament will based out of the Vineyard.

If you could build your own tournament, what would you like to see for targeted species, format, time of year, schedule, etc.

All boats entered on a board with what calcuttas they are in.

All fish must be iced so that they can be use for food. Talk with the local fish markets and restaurants to ultilize what was caught.
Offer a market so the spectators can taste what day boat fish is supposed to taste like. Set up a tent an education platform as to the hazzards of indescrimanate fishing methods. Such as by catch and juvenile mortality Habitat destruction by the latest ground gear methods.
Someone outside of the fishing industry will have an answer to some of these problems. The only way to find out is to start asking everyone
