Just thought I would introduce myself. I have been a member of the site for a while but just havn't really got into the the whole forum thing. My name is Taylor and I have fished all my life. I have been a mate for about 6 years now and have learned a lot of tricks from different captains. I primarily mate for Mass Bay Guides on the "Fortuna" and the "Labrador". I make squid bars for a lot of the guys out of scituate and some of the nearby harbors. I started fishing for bass when I was little, now I love fishing for giants. Hope to learn more from the site.

    Intro

Just following up with my younger brother above...My name is Bryan and I am out of Scituate harbor. I have been fishing all of my life. I grew up striper fishing in the North River and gradually began to fish offshore. I got the "tuna needle" when I was about 15 and have been obsessed ever since. I mate for boats out of Scituate/occasionally Green Harbor ("Fortuna" "Labrador" "Al Dente"...) My father runs Mass Bay Guides and owns the FV Fortuna. I am also a captain and run trips for my father when he needs a break. I love hearing new ideas from captains, mates, fisherman all around. I am also a "tackle slut" like some of you guys have said on earlier forums. Hope to hear some good ideas as well as share some on this site.
