Late to the NE party thread….

I recently found this site and have been lurking. Great site and I recognize quite a few names from other sites. I fish out of Portsmouth, RI on my Tiara 38' express "Get Reel". I range from Atlantis to Hudson Canyon and every where in between, including lots of time spent in Narragansett Bay. My passion is big game fishing, but some of my favorite days are spent scupping with my wife and two daughters in Mackerel Cove. This weekend will be family fluke day on Saturday and sharking with the boys on Sunday. I am ready for tuna season and am looking forward to the first overnighter. The water and fish are there. I just need the weather window and crew to align. On that note, I am always looking for crew members, especially this year with the cost of fuel. It is difficult to get a crew together for an overnighter. I have a couple regular crew members, but I would like to have a call list to fill the boat. Feel free to PM me with contact information if you are interested in canyon fishing.

Good luck to all this season…..so far it has been a great start for me.

Will

Hi Gang,
Great site without the attitude.
About time I introduced myself. My name is Keith and I have fished since standing. I am a Maine State Guide and a former tackle shop owner in Portland. Most of my trips are for stripers and blues with the flyrod and light spin but do a fair number of tuna and shark trips on and off the clock. I fish out of Scarborough and Potland. I am more than happy to share any info as to what I am seeing. I average 5 days on the water lately due to the crappy weather the past 30+ days. Looking forward to September as the counter balance.

Scotty here I was in a hurry last post so here's the deal. My nicname in high school was Tuna you figure it out. I have multiple bad habits where I love to fish, hunt and ride harleys not always in that order. I have two kayaks, one canoe,a tin boat for the lakes and keep a 2250 stratos walk around in Gloucester Ma. I am accepting gas and beer dontions and wellcome all contributions. I'm having tuna withdrawal as I have to be in N.New Portland Maine this Friday - Sunday to announce a harley sled pull and will have to console myself with damaging brain cells and looking at half nekkid women. What? yes dear I'll get to the lawn..... gotta go tight lines. Scotty. PS great week last -many keeper bass some pushing 40# and three hook ups one to the boat mid 60's. ..I said I'll mow the frickin lawn!! gotta go....
