I'm in on this one!! It's good to see so many here and ready to particpate. I've been on the water all my life and cant get away from it. I remember talking to a guy on the dock one day, many years ago and telling him I wanted to try and catch tuna. He said "DONT DO IT"..I said "why"? He said "because once you start and catch your first one you will never want to quit, it is like an obsession"...HE WAS RIGHT!!!
Currently, I have a 29 Topaz, but spend 99% of my time on co-running my friend's 45 Davis. Typically, we are offshore a couple of times a week, fish a few of the tournaments and run some charters but really do it because it is a passion. Both boats are in New Bedford, MA and are waiting for that first warm core eddy of the season.
I am a huge believer in sharing and networking information, it benefits us all. Lets make this work guys...
Shoe, I havent forgotten..you are on the call list..BUT YOU ARE NOT FORGIVEN for that HOTTIE WANTS TO GO FISHIN post..LOL

Well said Don.

Sometime when you get a free minute, I'd love to see you start a thread about stick boating. I've seen you guys out there and always wondered what it is you look for, how you get so close, and what it's like to zap a giant.

Thanks for that Team! A sunset on the water without rum just isn't right. I'll have to stock up for the trip.

My name is Rory, im 24 and have been fishing my whole life. Live on Boston harbor and have been slaying stripers for years still short of the big 50lbs. Made a living commercial fishing during the summers since I was 12 on my old mans boat gone up and down the coast commercially to OC, MD. Like most of you guys dont own my own boat just jump around with a few guys and do some work on the less knowledgable. Offshore is my passion and have done several trips to the canyons as well as numerous BFT trips still no giants. Love shark fishing, fish the tourney every year. Always looking to get out and learn some new things, and you guys all have something to share i am around all summer if anyone needs a monkey. good luck with the season.
