Don,

Thanks for the welcome.

Looking forward to splashing the boat in a couple of weeks and getting started for the season.

NE role call

I'm Mark, I'm new to the site and saltwater fishing. Hope to get out and fish for cod, haddock, and blues. I'm planning on going to Gloucester/Rockport area. I'll probably be doing mostly shore fishing. I've been reading some of the posts and getting some useful info. I've fished freshwater for about 40years.

From Carver Ma and fish out of Plymouth and Wareham. After a 6 year Hiatas , I am back on the water(kids are old enough to swim and fish). Just got a little sunbird 19' with a 150 HP 2 stroke oceanrunner. Plan on moving up to a 23 ' CC in a year or to but this will do for now. Any one out there yet.
Went over to the the Plymouth power plant last week . Just a few hits but nothing to write about .

Exclamation Tired of lurking

Hello All! I have been lurking on this forum for months reading of everyone's exploits and figured it was time for me to join in. I live on Seavey Island (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard) so it depends on who you ask as to whether I live in Portsmouth, NH or Kittery, ME. I think Kittery. I am in the Navy (over 19 years now). I have lived in Florida, Idaho, Virginia, New York, and Guam while in the Navy. My wife dreads summer here as she becomes a fishing widow. I have a 1993 Albemarle 247XF that I keep in one of the marinas at the Shipyard. I am looking forward to learning from others on this forum and hopefully catching lots of fish this year.

Hey guys. I have been fishing for about 3 years (since I moved to portland, ME) but I just got a boat this winter and am looking forward to starting from scratch on figuring out how to fish for cod, haddock and tuna. I only have a vague idea on locations and technique so any advice I find here will be really helpful and of course I look forward to sharing my fishing results in different locations with all of you too!
Thanks,

Keith
