Shoefish-thanks for the welcome. Buggin is pretty slow right now but things are destined to change! I can't ever remember having such bad cabin fever. It has been a long winter!
Old Mud- I can only dream. I have had doubles 4 times twice landing both and the other two times losing one and getting the other. Can't wait to put the fighting glove on, come on summer!!!!!! |

Need a weather window bad.....
Trout/Salmon are snappin on Cape Cod... then it's.. ice out at Wini (what day this year? April 29th i'm guessin ! )Then off to Lake Champlian for a mixed bag before Memorial Day traffic madness for some per-spawn BASS madness (don't forget about the Pike )... Sebec Lake for some Lakers ; Salmon, and just maybe put on my Capt Smallie Hat too i recon , then finially we'll be thinking about catching some saltwater fish inshore in June , soak some scup with my new bait tool Then its off to the promised land for the 1st of many warw eddy's that we'll see this year. Prediction time..... We'll get those Early Eddy's up on the shelf ; maybe even in the Lanes by end of July, so you guy's with CC's can catchemup a few YFT .. we're due for some close range YF/Albie tuna What about those white marlin, can only hope alot more will show this year.... But don't forget about the wide open bite RAT bite south of the Vinyard late June thru early July ... (good time for a freindly FUN tourney maybe?) Ya never know, but keep your ears open for reports from the NY/NJ boards getting Rat's, then do your homework and follow those critters to the 30 fathom hole, just watch out for those pelagic bluefish choppers... Then i hope you all go to the Crab and Regal Sword......Whilst we get a few BLUE GIRLS! , couple of Swordy's, then maybe a few wahoo's at 20 knot's when switching canyons to go for that Bigeye bite!....Same old story, lots of toy's (new and old ), but not enough time on the water... It's all good, and it is what it is; we just have to do it ?May everyone have a safe and productive year on the water, and Catchemup Sayman |

Welcome CaptV, nice to have you here. Great site with a lot of great info. Just wait till the fishing starts, and this forum will be off the hook. What parts of the cape do you fish?

Whats up fellas,
My buddies call me Fridge. I fish mainly stripers, bluefin, and sharks. I have a 50 ton Masters license and been fishing since I can remember. I grew up in Gloucester and moved to the cape when I was 15. Can't wait to get back at it this year. Catch 'em up. |

And welcome CaptV! |
