I have been on this site a bunch of times but have never posted anything.I haved fished Long Island most of my life from orient point , to montauk and the canyons. I have been living in Quincy and fishing Boston harbor for the past 4 years. Lots of good fishing here, striper jones knows my hot spots.
I see a couple or at least one of you docks at Marina Bay as do I se you there, launching first week in April to do some cod fishing if anyone is interested.
Likewise JRod! Can't wait to start slaying em again. I have a feeling we'll pick up right where we left off. I am in for some chilly cod fishing!

TMD, I'm hoping the next month flies by as well. New rig looks like a sweet sled! Good luck with it.

MB stars, I drove down Wolly Beach today during lunch and saw about 1000 gulls hanging out on that sand bar near the entrance to Blacks Creek like they were staking out spots in a buffet line. Squantum base station has had an eye on the bay, and reports birds have been casing the joint for a couple weeks now.

In the words of a great fisherman "Stripers are like fat chicks, just dangle a big eel in front of them and hang on for the ride!"

Hey

Just stumbled on to this site. I'm now located on upper Cape Cod and spent most of my time fsihing Boston Harbor from the early sixties to 2000. Been through the good years when it was not uncommon to have nights with 500 lbs. of Bass to times when you were lucky to catch a fish a week.

Now enjoying retirement and making a few bucks chasing whatever I can find swimming or living in the waters of the Cape. It's almost time for things to start happening. The first Herrring should be showing up soon Followed by the Squid , Mackerel, Blues and Bass.

Let's get ready to Rumble
