Blkdog-
Welcome to the site! Thanks for joining up and chiming in. I'd love to hear some stories from you about the surf. Being a boat fisherman, I've always wanted to learn more about how you guys from the surf do it. Standing by!

Dunn it was great to meet you and Giggy at the seminar. Please don't be strangers around here- we need as many local eyes and ears on the water as we can. Look forward to talking to you again soon!

I guess I'm the new guy here at SFC

Located on the south shore of Long Island and fish out of Fire Island inlet. Long hauls bring me to the edge from The Fish tales to Toms and all points in between. I spend most of the early spring chasing Bass and hunt for Turkey till June hits and then its big game for the most part for the rest of the season. I've Hunted in 9 western states 4 provinces in Canada as well as 4 solo trips to Alaska. October rolls around and depending on how bad the wind is holwing will determine weather or not I'll chase bass agian or bow hunt.If the weather allows offshore supercedes all. That's pretty much is it until Christmas, then it time to teardown and re rig all the hunting and fishing gear because the boat goes back in around early march. I work so that I can afford to hunt and fish and I'll go just about anywhere to do either. I'm always looking for guys that want to fish most of my buddies all went and had kids and have nagging wives and can't go. I'll go alone rather than stay home, but its much nicer with crew. Been thinking about bringing the boat up to Mass this year for giants but I have to see how that pans out. Best of luck to all in the new year and have a happy holiday !

Boat: 232 Sea Hunt
Home Port: Guilford, CT
Best Catch: A nice big FAT CHICK!
Occupation: Sales
Just signed up myself. My home port is Guilford, CT. I have a 232 Sea Hunt with 200hp on the back.

I live in Queens, NY which makes it tuff to use the boat as much as I would like. Me and my father are partners on the boat and needless to say he lives in Guilford and has a lot more say on where the boat is kept than I do!

With that being said I do get out quite a bit though and my main target is usually stripers. I am open to taking people out or tagging along on others and sharing tips and tecniques Always looking to have a good time and catch fish. I got to tag a long on quite a few canyon runs this past year and had great sucess learned a ton and met some great people.

I will always post good or bad when I do make it out. My father rarely takes the boat out w/o me. I try and share as much info. as I can when I am on the water and in return I hope to get some good info as well. It isn't easy knowing where the bait is and whats going on in general with the distance that I have to travel and the frequency that I get out.

Stay tuned for some posts from me in the spring and I am going to post my bonefishing experiance that I just did in the Turks & Caicos!

Looks like a great site and I am looking forward to participating as much as I can!!
