No doubt! We have a license plate exclusion here because they trap too much road salt. Not that anyone else in the country has any reason to know what road salt is, or what it's used for. I could post up a couple pics of my albino truck. It was gray two weeks ago when I washed it but it's now white.

    Palawanbound,

Tough road owning/selling the boat and mapping out the new. Took me two years to sell. Hope yours is a quick one.

Interesting concept with having outboards on the 33. Will be waiting to watch the build. At this rate there will be no vacations for the Flowers crew with all the work they have.

There was interest in my boat earlier but lobsters were late & the price sucked,so I will have to wait it out.I can use my 23 ft but I know how the weather can change & the allure of Platts & other fine fishing spots can make you stay just long enough for that hard pound home.I am very confident in Ken's ability to make either one of his boats perform with an outboard, many people think I am nuts for even trying this but they don't call us Mainiacs for nothing!Ken had some other people interested in doing an outboard version,I think we should just draw straws to see who goes first!Keep the pictures coming!

Driving home from work at Pease I passed a 30+ shell of a boat on 95 South. Looked like your new ride but you said it was being delivered in Feb. Was going to try and take some pics from the car but NH state troopers were part of the wide load escort.

    Wink

    JP,

Wish she was heading south today but not yet. Ken, Dave and the crew should be completing the 28 hull/house very soon and and jumping back on my build. Can't wait to see the progress come together.

    Pala,

I know the feeling, will be living on mine as well. The 33 is a good choice.

I couldn't sleep last night & by 3:30 this morning I was down to the Stonington lobster co-op waiting for the draggermen to show up to see about fresh scallops or some shrimp for supper, the only thing they were draggin at 8 degrees was their feet & I didn't blame them a bit!All I can think about is a new 33 ft.Flowers & headin out to 11 mile ridge for a crack at halibut or Platts for some nice cod & haddock, amazin how a boat can turn a guy into a complete nut,the wife keeps tellin me I am AB normal & I think she may be right.I'm going to start workin in the shop gettin traps ready to pass the time until the 33 kit boat is in the driveway, still need to talk to the Yamaha guy about the 350,my friend put one on his Northern Bay 25,it did 53mph all I want is 20kt cruise, time will tell.I will get rid of my energy tomorrow on the clam flats, guaranteed to help in the sleep dept.!

years ago I was on a scallop dragger on Platts & as a joke one of the crew attempted to have one of those lovely critters bite another crew member on the butt, luckily it only tore up his grundens. We didn't catch a lot of wolf fish mostly monk, thats a great fish to eat as well.
