Need Advice Fishing Out Of Biddeford & Old Orchard Beach Maine ??
I am trailering my Albemarle 24 Express from North Carolina to Old Orchard Beach, Maine in July and would appreciate some fishing advice launching out of the meeting house eddy ramp in Biddeford and Pine Point boat ramps.
Never boated up in Maine and not familiar with the area at all. Never fished up in Maine either and not familiar with what's available.
Would appreciate any advise you could offer
Thanks

I practice safe fishing
I am familiar with the Pine Point ramp. Decent ramp, but I would avoid peak current, it honks and makes putting the boat on the trailer a challenge. Tide drop is large as well and at low can be challenging.
What are you fishing for? We fished Jeffreys and Platts for shark. While drifting we limited out on groundfish. This was 18-22 August of last year. We saw and mark some good BFT too.
It's a great area. Old Orchard honky-tonk is amusing, but just a few blocks away you're back to beautiful beaches and classic NE.
Good luck.

Appreciate the reply.
We usually come up to Old Orchard Beach each summer. I just have never boated or fished up there.
Was just trying to get an idea of what fishing is up there so I could bring the right gear.
It's just too much to take another year of standing at the dock watching the boats launch.
The weather is so nice in the summer compared to our blistering heat down in North Carolina.
I am really looking forward to have my Albemarle up there.
Any specific fishing tips would be appreciated.
Thanks again
